Each delicious Wine Snap is handmade in small batches in her Napa Valley kitchen using all-natural, preservative-free ingredients

INGREDIENTS: Unbleached enriched flour, pure cane sugar, sweet creme butter, premium wine, cracked black pepper, aluminum-free baking powder, kosher salt, baking soda and Vitamin E (an anti-oxidant).

{ Tasting Note: Red Wine Snaps }

Rich hints of sugar move quickly to devilishly good jolts of black pepper and underlying salty notes. This salty-savory-sweet tang prepares your palate for the rich, deep flavors of a Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot, perhaps accompanied by a creamy Gorgonzola. But wait: the zingy highlights of black pepper also pair perfectly with a lush, fruity Zinfandel and your favorite Stilton. Then again, the sweet richness of the wafer plays the perfect companion to a dark, earthy Syrah enjoyed alongside some candied pecans. Every red wine finds its match in the Wine Snap.

Prefer white wine to red? There’s another, slightly sweeter version of the Wine Snap to accompany white wine. Enjoy it with a cow’s milk blue cheese, and notice how it brings out the apple, pear, and butter flavors of Chardonnay. Or top it with a goat or sheep milk cheese as it brings out the grassy, herbaceous flavors in Sauvignon Blanc. It’s also delicious with sparkling wines—try it matched with a washed-rind cow’s milk cheese.
